I am really pleased to share that I have just successfully renewed my CMALT accreditation with the Association for Learning Technology.
It is honestly hard to believe it has been five full years since I submitted my initial portfolio. When you are trying to effect change in teaching and learning and drive digital innovation, the technological landscape shifts so quickly that half a decade feels like a lifetime. Finding the quiet time to step back from the daily implementation of new platforms to actually reflect on my professional practice has been incredibly valuable.
It is far too easy to keep your head down and just push on to the next project, so having this built-in mechanism for peer-reviewed reflection is something I really appreciate.
The portfolio is officially signed off and put to bed for another few years.
