Chuffed to be CMALT Certified

I am absolutely delighted to share that I have passed my portfolio and am now a Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology.

Carving out the time to properly reflect on my practice while managing a university teaching and learning team has been quite demanding. The CMALT framework requires a real deep dive into how we evaluate learning technologies and lead digital innovation. Balancing this portfolio work while navigating my ongoing eye recovery, especially as I am still patiently awaiting stitch removal and my new lens, definitely added an extra layer of challenge to the whole endeavour!

Getting this peer-assessed accreditation means a great deal. It is a wonderful excuse to step back, look at the actual impact we are having in digital education, and connect with a brilliant wider community of practitioners.

Right, time for a well-deserved celebratory cup of tea.
