It’s that time of year again and the time has come for me to deliver a new design for the Plymouth e-Learning Conference website and flyer. The site has always remained consistent in terms of structure but each year I try to freshen up the style by adapting the graphics to match the theme. This years theme is Digital Futures: Learning in a Connected World, so the thing that intermediately jumped out at me was the map idea and making connections. I tried to keep it really simple this year and not use any bizarre metaphors that people wouldn’t understand, not this time, a really simple design with pleasant colours (lovely shades of blue) that will hopefully draw you in to the content.
Above is the front of the flyer, mostly image based to draw the viewer in, the back is jam packed with information and details of next years keynote speakers; Stephen Heppell, John Davitt and Inge De Waard.
For the first time, this year’s conference will be held over three days. We start at 1pm on Day 1 and run through to 1pm on Day 3. As usual, the conference will be full of events, including paper presentations, workshops, demonstrations and plenty of time and space for networking.
For more information please view the Plymouth e-Learning Conference website, where you can also download the flyer.
